Please note the following instructions for acclimating your new aquarium inhabitants. It is important that the animals are slowly accustomed to the local water parameters of your aquarium.

To avoid additional stress, turn off the aquarium light. Do not turn it back on until all the new fish are in the aquarium and are behaving calmly.

Place the fish transport bag in the aquarium.

Open the bag and make sure that it remains vertical in the tank, for example by using a clamp.

Add water from the aquarium to the bag. The amount should be approximately one third of the water in the fish transport bag.

After 10 minutes, refill the bag with water from the aquarium.

Wait another 10 minutes before adding water to the bag a third time.

After another 10 minutes, you can carefully catch the fish from the bag with a net and place them in the aquarium.

The water remaining in the bag is then disposed of.

Refill the aquarium with fresh water if necessary. With aquatan you not only bind pollutants from the water, but also add important minerals to the water.
