Bio Ceramic Ring is an essential filter media for every aquarium. It can effectively eliminate odors, detoxifies harmful metals, purifies and soften the water. DIRECTIONS Rinse thoroughly before use to remove fine dust due to handling  Place directly into the chamber or in the nylon filter bag. MAINTENANCE It should be rinsed monthly using the water from the aquarium. Never rinse with tap water or any water that could contain chlorine, always try to use water from the aquarium. The ceramic ring should be replaced every 6 months and do not replace all filter media simultaneously. Stagger media replacement to ensure constant bacterial populations.
