Blue actinic light is ideal for enabling algal endosymbiosis in soft and hard corals and other invertebrates. Since the emitted blue LED spectrum has been expanded using two different LEDs, the appropriate wavelengths of light for the photosynthesis process are ensured.

It is also used to enhance color and enhance depth as additional lighting in the Malawi aquarium or as moonlight. The preferred combination is with LED X-Change Tube neutral brilliant white or LED X-Change Tube daylight sunrise.

In combination with the sera LED Digital Dimmer, the light intensity of the sera LED X-Change Tube marine blue sunrise can be controlled. In addition, sunrise and sunset can even be simulated at individually set times.
