Check your clipper model first

This spare is made for the AGC2 and AGCB UltraEdge Super 2-speed brushless clippers, so check the model code on your clipper’s label or in its manual before ordering; other clipper models use different parts. It is worth considering when the blade is sharp, clean and correctly fitted, yet the clipper stalls, rattles, runs unevenly or struggles to cut, as these are signs that the drive may be worn. Replacing the assembly means opening the housing, so always unplug the clipper first, work on a clean, well-lit surface and keep the screws in order as you remove them. If you are not comfortable taking a clipper apart, or the clipper is still under its warranty, a grooming equipment repairer or service centre can fit the part for you instead. Afterwards, help the new parts last by oiling the blade during use, brushing hair out of the air vents and blade drive, and avoiding drops onto hard floors, which can knock the drive out of line.
