Reptile Heat Lamps in Dubai and UVB Lighting for Healthy Basking
This category is for the equipment that recreates sun and warmth inside a terrarium: basking heat lamps, UVB lamps, heat mats and ceramic heaters, plus the thermostats and thermometers that control them. It covers desert species such as bearded dragons and tortoises as well as tropical geckos, snakes and turtles, with delivery across the UAE.

Heating and lighting equipment for reptiles
• Basking lamps that create a hot spot at one end of the enclosure
• UVB tubes and compact lamps for vitamin D3 production
• Ceramic heat emitters for heat without light at night
• Reptile heat mats for gentle belly heat for geckos and snakes
• Reptile thermostats and digital thermometers
• Lamp holders and mesh guards that prevent burns

How to set up heat and UVB for your species
Put all heat at one end so the animal can move between warm and cool zones. Choose wattage for the enclosure size and the room: a reptile heat lamp in Dubai often works against a cold, air-conditioned room and may need more output than you expect, while an AC failure on a summer afternoon can overheat a terrarium quickly. That is why every heater needs a thermostat: a dimming type for basking bulbs, and a pulse or on/off type for ceramic heaters and heat mats.

Match the UVB strength to the species. Desert lizards need stronger UVB than forest or night-active animals. Mount the lamp at the distance the maker gives, with nothing but mesh between lamp and animal, because glass and plastic block UVB. Replace a reptile UVB lamp on schedule, usually every 6 to 12 months, even if it still lights up.

Most reptiles cope with a small night-time drop, so switch lights off at night and use non-light heat only if the room gets too cool. Guard every bulb inside the enclosure.

Exo Terra and Hobby reptile lighting
The range is built around Exo Terra and Hobby: Exo Terra UVB 150 desert tubes, UV reflector domes, terrarium lamps and turtle heaters, plus Hobby clamp lamps and the Hobby Biotherm Eco thermostat for keeping basking spots and heat mats at a steady temperature.

Lamps, mats and thermostats can be paid for by card or cash on delivery. Build the rest of the setup from reptile terrariums and habitats, calcium and vitamin supplements and frozen feeders and turtle food, or go back to reptile supplies.
