When to oil your blades

Oil the blades at the start of every grooming session and again during long clips, when friction builds heat. With the clipper running, place a drop on each side of the blade and one across the top of the teeth, let it run for a few seconds to spread the oil, then wipe off the surplus so it does not transfer to the coat. Well-oiled blades run cooler and pull less hair.

Good to know

Brush loose hair off the blade, add a few drops across the teeth, then wipe away any excess with a clean cloth. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
