Dosing and when to use
Add 5 ml for every 10 US gallons of aquarium water. To treat a wound or infection, dose daily for 7 days, then make a 25% water change and continue if needed; when adding new fish, dose daily for 3 days to ease the move from shop to home. It can also be used when an infection is suspected but not yet diagnosed. API states it will not harm the biological filter, alter the pH or discolour the water. The 4oz bottle suits small tanks, while the 8oz and 16oz bottles cover larger aquariums or repeat courses. Follow the label directions or your vet’s advice.
Good to know
Dose daily for the recommended course, remove carbon from the filter during treatment, and do a water change afterwards.
