Internal skimmer for saltwater aquariums up to 400 liters.The Turbofloter I 400 is a compact, flat skimmer for installation in the aquarium. It can also bridge struts up to 4 cm wide with a compensation piece. It is fixed with a special adhesive or simply placed on the supplied feet.The powerful AQ 1200 with needle wheel (13 watts) is used as a disperser pump. It is equipped with durable ceramic bearings for optimal smoothness and ensures a fine dry foam. The foam production can be regulated via the height-adjustable foam cup. Dimensions:- without feet: 22.5 x 10 x 38 cm (L x W x H)- with compensation piece 28 x 15 x 38 cm (L x W x H)

Before you install it

Check the inside of your tank before ordering: the skimmer stands 38 cm tall, so the water depth and the space under any lid or light must allow for it, and a brace wider than 4 cm cannot be bridged with the compensation piece. Decide whether to fix it with adhesive or stand it on the supplied feet before positioning it. New skimmers often need a running-in period before the foam settles, after which you can raise or lower the cup until the collected liquid is dark rather than watery. Empty the cup regularly.
