Measuring and fitting panels

Measure the inside back wall of your tank or terrarium before ordering: a single 60 x 48 cm panel covers a 60 cm tank, while longer set-ups need two or more panels joined side by side, so buy them all in the same style, whether Basalt, Iron Stone or Stack Stone. Cut with a sharp utility knife or fine saw and test the fit against the glass before fixing anything in place.

Good to know

Trim the panel to size before installing, fix it to the back glass with an aquarium-safe silicone if required and rinse it before filling. Brush off algae during cleaning.
