How much salt you need

The smallest pack is labelled 4kg for 120 litres, about 33g of salt per litre. At that rate each 2kg bag in the 10 x 2kg box makes about 60 litres, the 15kg pack roughly 450 litres and the 20kg pack roughly 600 litres. Always mix it in a separate clean container using dechlorinated or RO water at tank temperature, keep a pump running until the salt has fully dissolved, then check salinity with a refractometer or hydrometer before use. Keep the pack tightly closed in a dry place between water changes, because marine salt draws in moisture from the air and can cake.
