Choosing the right size

The range covers many footprints and heights, from 43.7 x 28 x 34 cm up to 100 x 40.5 x 59 cm, with some sizes also offered in a side net version that adds mesh panels on the sides for extra airflow. Choose by the adult size and lifestyle of the animal rather than its size today. Tall models such as 50 x 30 x 55 cm or 60 x 40.5 x 65 cm suit climbing species that need branches and height, while low, long models such as 80 x 40.5 x 44 cm or 100 x 40.5 x 59 cm give ground-dwelling reptiles room to move between warm and cool ends. The smallest sizes are better suited to small invertebrates, juveniles or temporary housing. Side net models keep air moving, which suits species that like drier conditions, but they lose humidity faster, so tropical species may be easier to manage in the standard version.
