This is a replacement pump for the Catit PIXI Fountain (all colours) and the Catit PIXI Stainless Steel Fountain. It brings a fountain with a worn or failed pump back to full flow. The USB adapter is not included; use only the official Catit USB adapter.

Checking compatibility first

Before ordering, check which fountain you own: this pump fits the original Catit PIXI Fountain in any colour and the PIXI Stainless Steel Fountain, but Catit states it is not suitable for the PIXI Smart Fountain. The pump unit measures about 7 x 8.5 x 6cm. Typical signs that a pump needs replacing are a weak or uneven flow, rattling or humming, or water that no longer moves even after cleaning. Before you swap it, take the old pump apart and clean the impeller and housing, as hair and limescale are the usual causes of poor flow. In hard-water areas, descaling the pump parts regularly helps the new one last longer.
