Company of Animals HALTI Double-Ended Training Lead, 2 m – Red, Large

Designed by Dr Roger Mugford, this multi-function HALTI Training Lead lets you control, guide and tether your dog in many situations. It is two metres long and double-ended, so you can shorten it for heelwork and obedience or let it out for recall and distance work. Used with a HALTI headcollar or HALTI harness it also gives a double-lead system, which is especially useful for managing over-boisterous or difficult dogs.

Choosing a size and using it

Pick the Small for smaller dogs and the Large for bigger, stronger dogs; both are 2 m long and come in red or black. To use it as a double-lead system, clip one end to the HALTI headcollar and the other to a collar or harness, so you can guide the head gently while the body takes most of the pull. Practise at home first so you are comfortable handling both ends.

Good to know

Check clips, stitching and webbing regularly and replace the lead if it shows wear. Never leave a dog tethered unattended.
