Bathing a cat calmly

Most cats cope with a bath better when everything is ready before you start. Put a non-slip mat in the sink, fill it with a few inches of lukewarm water and mix a little shampoo with water in a cup so it spreads easily through the fur. Keep the head dry and clean the face with a damp cloth instead. Rinse until the water runs clear, as leftover shampoo can leave the coat sticky, then wrap your cat in a warm towel and keep it in a draught-free room until dry.

Good to know

Wet the coat, apply a small amount (the formula is concentrated and can be diluted), lather well while avoiding the eyes, then rinse thoroughly. Safe for pets over 6 weeks old and will not wash off topical flea treatments.
