Any available fluorescent tubes (T8, T5, T5 special length) can be replaced with the T5 / T8 fastening adapter and the corresponding EHEIM powerLED+ lights.

The fluorescent tube sockets are intended for plugging in the LED T5 / T8 fastening adapter.

The power supply is made via the EHEIM powerLED+ mains adapter.

Choosing the right set

There are two versions: one for the classicLED range and one for powerLED+ lights, so order the set that matches your LED. For classicLED, EHEIM lists two T5 adapters, two T8 adapters, two clamping rings and two pairs of holders, one pair for mounting the light underneath the sockets and one for mounting it alongside them. Moving the holders lets you adapt the light to the length of your cover frame, but measure the distance between the old tube holders first and choose an LED of a similar length. The LED keeps its own power supply, so plan a route for its cable out of the cover, away from water.
