Choosing and using it

Choose the Extra Small version for the tiniest long-coated dogs, or the Small Dogs version, which comes as a box of six and suits groomers or multi-dog homes. Use the tool on a brushed-out, dry coat for 10 to 20 minutes once or twice a week, as over-use can irritate the skin. It is not meant for breeds that do not shed or for heavily matted coats, which need detangling or a groomer first.

Use on a dry, tangle-free coat, stroking gently in the direction of hair growth with light pressure. Avoid sensitive areas and broken skin, and press the release button to clear the collected hair.
