The Hobby Tropic Fog System is a powerful ultrasonic fogging system that creates very fine fog for larger tropical terrariums. It comes with a flexible hose and water bottle, and switches off automatically when the water runs out.

Getting good results
Use distilled or RO water in the bottle: ultrasonic foggers turn hard tap water into fine white mineral dust that settles on glass and plants, and the minerals also scale up the fogging unit. Point the hose low so the cool fog drifts across the ground rather than straight into heat lamps. Run it on a timer or humidity controller in short bursts, for example in the morning and evening, instead of non-stop, as permanently saturated air without ventilation can lead to mould and breathing problems. Check readings with a hygrometer and empty, rinse and refill the bottle often so the water never stagnates.

Use clean, soft water, monitor humidity with a hygrometer, and clean the system regularly.
