Getting the most from each bag
At 30 x 60 cm, the XL bags suit larger fish, several smaller fish travelling together, or plants and bulky items during a tank move. For longer journeys, place one bag inside another for extra protection against punctures from spines or sharp fins. Twist the neck firmly, fold it over and secure it with a rubber band or knot, then keep the bag in a dark, insulated box so the fish stay calm and the temperature stays steady.
Good to know
Fill only about a third with water and the rest with air, and float the sealed bag in the tank to equalise temperature before releasing the fish.
