Why the curved blades help
The angled blades let you hold the scissors flat to the substrate, so you can trim carpeting plants evenly and reach behind rocks and wood without disturbing the layout. At just 62.5g they are light enough for long trimming sessions without tiring your hand, and JBL has them made in Japan from smooth stainless steel for very precise cuts. If you also use them in a marine tank, rinse them in fresh water afterwards. Trim stems just above a leaf node and net out the clippings so they do not drift around the tank.
