Juwel BioPad filter wool pads are the mechanical pre-filter stage in Juwel Bioflow filters. They trap fine dirt particles before the water reaches the sponges and biological media, keeping the rest of the filter cleaner for longer. This is size M.

Matching the pad to your filter

The pad must match the size of your Bioflow filter rather than the tank volume alone. Size S is the small pad for the Bioflow Super and Compact S filters. M is for the Bioflow 3.0, fitted to tanks such as the Rio 125, 180 and 240 LED, Lido 120 and 200 LED and Trigon 190 LED. L is for the Bioflow 6.0 in the Rio 350 LED and Vision 260 LED, and XL is for the Bioflow 8.0 in the Rio 450 LED, Vision 450 LED and Trigon 350 LED. The pads are made from residue-free polyester, and Juwel recommends changing the white pad every week, so a multi-pack is worth keeping in stock.

Good to know

Replace the filter wool pad at every filter clean, as wool cannot be rinsed back to its original performance.
