Before your pet moves in

Assemble the habitat and fit the included water bottle, food dish and wheel before adding your pet, and check that the twist-knob latches close firmly. Spread a few centimetres of paper-based bedding across the rectangular tray and add a hide so your pet has somewhere dark to sleep, as one is not listed in the kit. The six accessory points let you add CritterTrail tubes later as you learn what your pet enjoys. Place it away from other pets and noisy areas, and refill the water bottle daily.

Good to know

Set the habitat on a stable surface away from direct sun and draughts, add a layer of bedding, and give it a full clean at least once a week.
