KW Zone Dophin Ceramic Ring 400g

KW Zone Dophin Ceramic Ring 400g is a high-porosity biological filter media for freshwater and marine aquariums. Its network of micro-pores gives beneficial nitrifying bacteria a large surface area to colonise, so they can break down toxic ammonia and nitrite and keep your water clean, clear and healthy for fish.

How to use

Rinse the rings in aquarium water before first use, then place the KW Zone Dophin Ceramic Ring media in your filter’s media chamber or a media bag — ideally after the mechanical (sponge) stage. Use around 400g per typical hang-on or canister filter, adjusting to your tank size and stocking level.

Maintenance

Only rinse the KW Zone Dophin Ceramic Ring in old tank water — never tap water — to protect the bacterial colony. Avoid replacing all of the media at once; swap out a portion at a time so biological filtration stays stable.
