Operation:

Clean the skimmer carefully before using. Do not use any chemical cleansers.
Fix the skimmer on the aquarium wall and adjust the screw to keep the skimmer in place and balanced.
Remove the impurity case cover, then fill the pump casing with water until it is 50mm above the water pump.
Turn the air-inlet controller to “CLOSE” and then connect the power supply.
Start the water pump to fill the tube with water.
Turn the air-inlet controller to “OPEN” to allow air in, and the protein skimmer will begin working.
Allow the skimmer to run for a minimum of 24 hours for the break-in period, during which a wet foam froth should form and be cleaned off.
After the break-in period, the wet foam will decrease, and a sludge-like foam will be produced, which should be cleaned off occasionally.
