Which coats it suits

De-shedding blades work best on double-coated pets, such as huskies, retrievers and long or medium-haired cats, which have a dense undercoat that moults. They are not suited to curly or silky single coats like poodles, or to very short, fine coats. Once or twice a week is enough for most pets, a little more during heavy moulting seasons. Brush in short strokes on dry hair and stop once the amount of loose hair drops.

Good to know

Brush in the direction of hair growth with light pressure, keep sessions short and calm, and avoid sore or broken skin. Remove hair from the tool after use and let the bamboo dry naturally if it gets wet.
