Seachem CoralCrete Gray 114g

Seachem CoralCrete Gray is a two-part epoxy putty for reef aquariums that anchors coral to rockwork or joins pieces of rock into steadier foundations. It is especially useful for big branching colonies, most large polyp corals and plating corals that need a solid bond with the rock. Once mixed, you have roughly 5 minutes to shape and place it before it starts to firm up, and it works whether the surface is underwater or dry. When used according to the directions, it is safe for fish and invertebrates. The tube contains 114g of grey putty.

Directions

If your skin is sensitive, put on latex gloves. Slice off the amount needed and store the remainder in its plastic tube. Remove the film and knead the two parts until the colour is uniform, then press the putty firmly around the coral base or the rock contact point so it fills pores and grooves. Setting starts after about 5 minutes, it is hard after around 15 and fully set after 24 hours.

Good to know

While the epoxy sets, your protein skimmer may produce more foam than normal, so check it during the first 24 hours.
