Small and space-saving defoamer for marine aquariums

The skimmer is the heart of filtration in a marine aquarium. It removes the proteins that microorganisms, invertebrates and fish constantly secrete into the water. A powerful yet economical skimmer removes particles as well as floating pieces and aerates the aquarium.

The very small and space-saving Sera marin Protein Skimmer PS 200 is one of the smallest skimmers ever and is ideal for aquariums up to 200 liters. The device can be easily attached to the inner wall of the aquarium with the help of a height-adjustable holder. Air and water flow can be easily adjusted.

Setting it up

Fix the holder to the inside wall and set the height so the skimmer sits at the right depth for your water level. A new skimmer can take several days to produce steady foam, so be patient. Empty and rinse the collection cup regularly, and wipe away salt creep from the holder.
