Sera Pond Pressure Filter T Series – T50

The Sera Pond Pressure Filter T Series is a series of high volume pressure filters for maximum filtration. The body is made of high quality ABS plastic. This allows it to be buried next to the ring. The tips are universal and suitable for several sizes of hose (19, 25, 32, 40 mm. or 3/4, 1, 1 and 1/4, 1 and 1/2″). The set includes a set of filter sponges (also available as a spare part)

In order to work, the filters of this series need an additional pump. A suitable model is Sera Pond Pump PP with a capacity of50 liters of filter. A suitable pump for driving the filter is

Sera Pond Pump PP 6000. Suitable for ponds with a volume of up to 12,000 liters.

Setting it up

The filter has no pump of its own, so pair it with a suitable pond pump such as the Sera PP 6000. The hose tails fit 19, 25, 32 and 40 mm hoses. Bury it beside the pond up to the lid, leaving the top accessible for cleaning, and rinse the sponges in pond water rather than tap water to keep beneficial bacteria alive.
