Using a non-adjustable heater

Unlike Sicce’s Jolly Preset models, the standard Jolly has no thermostat to set: it simply adds steady warmth whenever it is plugged in and submerged, and the LED shows it is on. That makes it important to match it to a small bowl or tank and to check the temperature with a thermometer, especially in a warm room, where it could push the water higher than your betta needs. If the water runs too warm, switch to an adjustable heater. Wrap the supplied chew-safe spiral over the cable, and use the adhesive decorations to blend it into the layout.
