Signs and fitting

The Shark PRO 500 is Sicce’s 500 l/h, 4W internal filter, so check the model name on your filter before ordering, as the 900 uses a different rotor. A worn rotor usually shows itself as rattling, humming without much flow, or a weak outflow that does not improve after the sponges are cleaned. Unplug the filter and use the magnetic quick-release to lift the body away from its holder, then open the pump cover, pull out the old rotor and clean the housing of slime and limescale. Push the new rotor fully home, refit the cover and switch back on.
