Sicce Shark Pro Nano 320

The Sicce Shark Pro Nano 320 is the larger of the two Shark Pro Nano internal filters, designed to give small aquariums extra flow and a high filtering capacity from a compact, slim body that is easy to hide in a corner. Filter media is held in an independent module, and the multi-stage system provides a 50% filtration surface for clear water. As your tank matures you can add more modules to strengthen mechanical and chemical filtration, and set the outlet to whichever of the four flow patterns suits your fish.

Fitting and options

Sicce makes the Shark Pro Nano in two models, the 250 and this larger 320, which draws 4W on European mains and has a 2.2m cable. It mounts with a magnetic holder on glass up to 6mm thick, so check your tank’s glass before buying. The output can be set as a single jet, a wider multidirectional flow, a spray bar or a venturi for extra oxygen. Sicce sells a flow accessory kit, extra filter modules with sponge, replacement sponges, a spare magnetic holder and a replacement rotor separately.

Good to know

Clean the sponge in water taken from the aquarium so the beneficial bacteria are not lost, and unplug the filter before any maintenance.
