Matching it to your pump

Sicce’s spare for the Syncra Silent 2.0 is part SGR0047, which pairs the rotor with a 5 mm ceramic shaft. The 2.0 is the 32 W model rated at up to 2,150 litres per hour with a 2 m maximum head; the neighbouring 2.5 and 3.0 pumps use different rotor sets, so read the model number on the pump body before ordering. A rotor usually needs changing when the pump turns noisy or the flow stays weak after a clean. Ceramic shafts are hard but brittle, so handle the new one gently, seat it straight and never bend or force it into place.
