Before fitting

The Syncra HF 16.0 is a large pump rated at up to 16,000 litres an hour and 4.5 m of head, drawing 175W, so a worn rotor has a big effect on flow. Check the model label reads HF 16.0 before ordering, as each Syncra size has its own rotor. Rattling, extra vibration or a drop in flow that cleaning does not fix are the usual signs. The pump switches off automatically if the rotor is blocked, so clear any debris first. Unplug it, open the volute, remove the old rotor, clean the chamber and fit the new part before reassembling.
