Using it in a routine

Breeds prone to tear staining, such as Maltese, Shih Tzus, Poodles and Persian cats, benefit most from regular use, ideally daily while staining is visible and then a few times a week to keep the area clean. Warm the bottle in your hand first so the drops are not a cold shock, and reward your pet afterwards. Use a fresh pad for each eye to avoid spreading debris. Being non-medicated, it does not treat infections, so follow your vet’s advice for any eye condition.

Good to know

Apply a few drops to the eye or onto a soft pad and gently wipe discharge away from the corner outwards. If eyes are red, swollen or cloudy, or your pet is squinting, see your vet.
