Picking the right size

Four sizes are listed: 40 x 20 cm, 55 x 30 cm, 75 x 36 cm and 104 x 40 cm, with height rising from about 16 to 30 cm as the tank gets longer. Each is made of glass with a partial glass lid that keeps turtles in while letting air circulate, and a grooved ABS ramp leads up to the dry area so turtles can climb out without slipping. The smallest tank holds only around 5.5 litres of water, so keep it for hatchlings or temporary use. Terratlantis also makes a matching stand for the two largest models.

Good to know

Add a filter, heater and UVB basking lamp, and upgrade to a larger tank as your turtle grows.
