Setting it up

Half-bury the tunnel in deep bedding so it feels like a burrow, or lay it on top as a bridge and lookout, and move it now and then to give your pet something new to explore. Check the opening suits your pet before buying, as a large Syrian hamster needs an entrance wide enough to pass through without squeezing. Mice and dwarf hamsters will also use the peep holes as extra exits.

Good to know

Place it on a layer of bedding in the cage, check it regularly and replace it once it is heavily gnawed or soiled. Clean with a dry brush or a cloth dampened with warm water only.
