How to apply it

For dressed wounds and bumblefoot, Vetafarm advises applying the gel generously beneath the dressing and changing the dressing every 48 hours until the area has healed. On wounds that are left undressed, apply it every 12 hours, or as the condition requires, until healing is complete. Keep the tube closed in its original packaging somewhere cool and dry, below 30°C and away from light, which matters in a hot mews or vehicle; Vetafarm gives a shelf life of two years from manufacture, so check the date on the pack. Follow the pack directions or your vet’s advice, and have deep or slow-healing wounds checked.
