Waterbox Coral Dip Solution – 50 ml

Waterbox Coral Dip is a dip solution for treating new corals before they go into your reef aquarium. Waterbox formulated it to remove pests from coral and help avoid bacterial and tissue infections, lowering the risk of bringing problems into your display. Dissolve 2 ml in one gallon of saltwater, dip the coral for up to 5 minutes while gently swirling, then rinse it in clean saltwater before placing it in the tank.

Dipping step by step

At 2 ml per US gallon, the 50 ml bottle makes about 25 gallons of dip, roughly 95 litres. Use water taken from your display tank so temperature and salinity match. While the coral is in the dip, gently blow over it with a turkey baster to dislodge hiding pests, then check the bottom of the container for flatworms or bugs. Throw away the used dip water afterwards.

Good to know

Use only in a separate dip container, never pour Coral Dip into the aquarium, and shake before use. Rinse corals in clean saltwater after dipping.
