Rinse the plant in warm water before placing it in the tank.

For the best visual effect, place taller plants at the back and shorter ones in the front to create depth.

Do not clean the plant with hot water above 80°C to avoid damage.

Choosing and placing pieces

The range splits into artificial plants and ornaments, so pick by the role each piece will play. The plants come in several heights: 15cm models such as YS-60110, YS-40102 and YS-60116 work in the middle of the tank, while 19 to 20cm pieces like YS-18210, YS-60208, YS-60206 and YS-0106 are better placed towards the back where they will not block your view. The ornaments are listed with their dimensions, from the compact YS-232109 at 14 x 13.5 x 14cm to the larger YS-231010 at 30.5 x 17.4 x 29cm, so measure your aquarium and leave plenty of open swimming space. Before adding anything, rinse it in plain tap water without soap or detergent. Push plant bases well into the gravel or sand, or weigh them down with stones, so they stay put, and arrange taller items behind shorter ones for depth. When algae builds up, lift the piece out and scrub it gently with a soft brush rather than using chemicals. Fish with long fins prefer smooth surfaces, so run a finger over each piece and check for rough edges first.
