Placing and using the dish
The dish measures 8 x 8 x 6 cm, a compact size for small and medium tree-dwelling species, and Terratlantis also makes a double version that holds food and water side by side. Fix it beside a branch or perch your reptile already uses, so it can reach the rim without climbing down, and where you can see at a glance how much has been eaten. For live food, slow-moving larvae such as mealworms are the easiest choice, as fast insects like crickets tend to jump straight out of an open dish. Chameleons rarely drink from standing water, so give them a dripper or regular misting as well.
Good to know
Clean and refill the dish daily, and position it away from basking lamps so food and water stay fresh.
