Fitting a cat collar safely

Four prints are offered: pink zebra, blue fish, daisy and pink leopard. Measure around the middle of your cat’s neck with a soft tape and check the size chart before ordering. Adjust the tri-glide until you can slide two fingers under the collar; any looser and a paw or jaw can get caught, any tighter and it may rub. The breakaway buckle is designed to release if the collar snags on a branch or fence, so do not clip a lead to it, as it will open under pressure. Introduce it gradually: let your cat wear it for short periods with treats and play before leaving it on all day. Some cats dislike the bell, so watch how yours reacts. Check the fit every few weeks, especially on growing kittens, and attach an ID tag to the D-ring.
