Building a scene around it

Choose the Small for nano and shrimp tanks, or the Medium as a centrepiece in a larger layout; as each piece is natural, its exact shape and height vary, so measure your tank’s height before deciding. Set the trunk slightly off centre, roughly a third of the way along the tank, for a more natural composition, and plant low carpeting or rosette plants around the base to suggest a landscape. Leave room above the branches for moss to grow into a canopy, and trim it as it fills out.

Soak new wood before use until it sinks, and expect some tannins to tint the water at first; regular partial water changes and activated carbon will clear it.
