Dymax Check Valve 2/pk

Dymax Check Valves are inline one-way valves for air and CO2 tubing. They let gas flow towards the aquarium but stop water siphoning back into your air pump or CO2 regulator if the power fails. This pack contains two valves.

Fitting it correctly

Fit the valve in the airline between the pump or CO2 regulator and the tank, outside the water and within easy reach so you can check it. Push the tubing firmly onto both ends, then make sure bubbles still flow: very small air pumps can struggle to open some valves, so test yours after fitting. With two valves in the pack, you can protect both an air pump and a CO2 line, or keep one as a spare. Valves can stick over time as salt, algae or limescale build up, so replace one that starts to restrict flow or lets water creep back.

Fit the valve with the arrow pointing towards the aquarium.
