Choosing diameter and length

The diffuser comes with a 24mm or 36mm disc and in lengths from 8cm to 40cm. The 36mm disc has a larger surface for releasing more gas, so it suits bigger or heavily planted tanks, while 24mm suits smaller setups. Choose the length so the disc sits low in the water once fitted: 8cm for shallow nano tanks, 20 to 35cm for most standard tanks, and 40cm (36mm only) for deep aquariums. Position it where the filter current carries the fine mist around the tank, and when the disc wears, order the replacement ceramic disc in the matching diameter.

Good to know

Fit a check valve in the CO2 line, and replace the ceramic disc when the bubbles become coarse.
