Dosing and storage

Lafeber’s directions use the smaller of the two scoops supplied: two small scoops in each ounce (about 30 ml) of drinking water, or one large scoop per two cups of water. When mixed into food that will be eaten completely, half the small-scoop water dose is enough, and during stress or illness the label allows the dose to be doubled. The powder dissolves slowly without stirring. Keep the tub closed and store it somewhere cool and dry, below about 22°C, and for a bird that is unwell, follow the pack directions or your vet’s advice.
