Exo Terra Terrasky UV

The Exo Terra Terrasky UV is an energy-efficient LED terrarium light that delivers visible light, UVA and UVB from one horizontal fixture. Its wide 120-degree beam covers a larger area than a typical tube or bulb. UVB supports vitamin D3 production and calcium absorption, while UVA and strong light help encourage appetite, activity and breeding behaviour. With 51 bright white LEDs and strong photosynthetic output, it also suits planted, bioactive, paludarium and aquatic turtle setups, keeping orchids, bromeliads, mosses and aquatic plants growing. The LED chips are rated for up to 20,000 hours of UVB.

Controls and settings

The remote adjusts white, UVA and UVB separately in 10% steps. You can pick an 8, 12 or 14-hour day with sunrise and sunset fades, so you can mimic seasonal day lengths. There are 3 sunlight and 2 moonlight presets, 3 memory buttons for your own settings, and a biofluorescence button that makes fluorescent plants, fungi and animals glow at night.

Good to know

Always pair this UV light with a good infrared heat source, for example an Exo Terra Halogen or Intense Basking Spot, so animals can bask properly.
