Choosing a model

Three models are listed: the A101 for aquariums up to 190 litres (about 11.5 x 8 x 6cm), the A202 for up to 300 litres (12.5 x 8.5 x 6cm) and the A402 for up to 600 litres (13.5 x 9 x 7cm). Choose by tank size and by how many air stones or sponge filters you plan to run, since deeper tanks and fine-pored stones need more pressure. The rubber hang tag lets it hang on the side of the stand.

Good to know

If the pump sits below the water line, fit a check valve in the airline so water cannot siphon back into it during a power cut.
