Measuring your doorway

Measure the doorway or hall at the height where the pressure pads will sit; the gate fits openings from 76 to 86 cm wide and needs flat, solid surfaces on both sides. Choose the 76 cm tall version for small and medium dogs that do not jump, and the 100 cm version for larger dogs or determined climbers. With 5 cm between the bars, check that very small puppies or toy breeds cannot squeeze through.

Good to know

Check the gate is firmly mounted and latched before leaving pets behind it, and re-tighten pressure mounts regularly. Do not use at the top of stairs unless the maker states it is suitable.
