When and how to use it

Use the comb as the last step after brushing: run it through the coat, and wherever it catches you have found a tangle the brush missed. Hold the hair at the base of a knot between your fingers so the comb does not tug the skin, and tease the knot out from the tip downwards. It is most useful for medium and long coats; very tight mats are best left to a groomer. Wash it in warm soapy water and dry it well.

Brush in the direction of hair growth with gentle strokes, work on small sections and stop if your pet’s skin looks red or sore. Clean the tool after every use.
