The black Halo Pet Microchip Scanner with Carry Case is a complete bundle for anyone who needs to check microchips on the go. It arrives with the Halo scanner and a handy carry case, plus a car charger and a test chip. Vets, charities and rescues, breeders and groomers, owners and Pet Travel Scheme users can all put it to work.

Built small, lightweight and robust, the Halo is ergonomically designed so scanning is not intrusive for the animal. It reads all FDX-B 15 digit and FDX-A 10 digit microchips and EM4102 chips, flags a detected 9 digit encrypted chip, and shows the temperature from BioTherm thermo chips. The 15 digit microchip is used almost exclusively throughout Europe.

The internal battery charges from a computer USB port or a USB mains adaptor. The carry case includes a USB lead, a wall plug-in charger helps where there is no computer USB port, and the car charger keeps you going on the road.
