The Hobby Cleaning Set 1-2-3 is a modular kit for cleaning aquarium glass without getting your hands wet. It includes three clip-on heads: a soft cleaning sponge that does not scratch glass and has a flexible joint for changing the angle, a flexible rubber scraper for general algae removal, and a scraper with a stainless steel blade for tougher deposits. Each head can be fitted to the ergonomic 10 cm handle on its own, or with one or two 15 cm extensions for deeper tanks.

Which tool to use
Start with the soft sponge for the light film of algae that builds up between water changes, angling its flexible coupling to reach corners. Move on to the rubber scraper for heavier growth, and keep the stainless steel blade for stubborn spots on glass; avoid using the blade on acrylic tanks or near silicone seams, where it could scratch or cut. Use the 10cm handle on its own for shallow tanks, and add one or both 15cm extensions to reach the bottom of deeper ones without wetting your arms.
Good to know
Rinse the heads in clean water after use and let them dry, and check the blade for damage before each clean.
